下一代 Windows 7: 微软计划在三年内推出
上周举行的 MGX 上面泄露的消息表明，微软计划在大概三年内推出下一个版本的 Windows，微软内部称这个版本的 Windows 为 Windows 7。虽然微软提供有关 Windows 7的消息还是很少，但是微软将会定出一个更加可以预计的开发计划。

微软最新版本的操作系统 Vista 经历了五年开发并多次延期后，终于在去年 11 月提供给企业用户，接下来在今年 1 月推出了零售版。像 Vista 一样，Windows 7 也会推出针对企业和零售的版本，同时也会推出 32 位与 64 位版本。此外微软也证实正考虑推出一种订阅模式与 Windows 进行配套，但没有进一步提供细节或时间表。

微软日程中的下一个任务是推出 Vista 的第一个 SP，据估计 SP1 将会在今年年底推出。

Windows 7 开发代号为 "Vienna"。一位微软代表证实，Windows 7 是下一代 Windows 的内部代号。他表示，微软把 Windows 7 的开发时间定为三年，而最终的推出时间以是否满足质量要求而定。
