"Microsoft has recently settled on a single P2P architecture to support its Windows Live, MSN, and other online businesses (the company previously had three separate systems). Our source believes Microsoft also wants to own and operate its own CDN architecture and sees Limelight as a quick solution to the CDN piece of the puzzle."

微软计划建立自己的 P2P 网络来支持它的 Windows Live, MSN 以及其他在线业务（目前微软有3套独立的系统），而 Limelight 正是微软的一条快速有效的捷径。根据一份来自 DataCenterKnowledge 的报告，微软正在建立其 CDN 的过程中：

"Right now we're actually building our own edge network," 微软全球基础服务副总裁 Debra Chrapaty 在最近的一次 Web 架构师会议中表示。"We're going to put nodes all over the world that we can leverage a little more broadly than we could by using a partner."
