微软日前宣布收购移动软件制造和服务提供商 Danger ，但交易的金融细节没有对外透露。该公司致力于为移动运营商提供一个完整的端到端解决方案，并且为用户提供移动数据和互联网服务。微软表示，收购后将获得 Danger 公司的手机操作系统。该公司移动操作系统的数据服务包括网络浏览器、电子邮件、及时信息、游戏和多媒体应用，能够轻松的访问社会化网络，比如 MySpace。夏普和摩托罗拉制造的手机预装了 Danger 公司的操作系统。

微软计划把 Danger 的运作添加到公司的娱乐和装置部门，这一部门包括 Xbox 游戏机、Zune 媒体播放器、 Windows Live 服务和手机 Windows 移动平台。

位于美国加州 Palo Alto的Danger 公司是 Andy Rubin 在1999年联合创建的，目前 Andy Rubin 负责谷歌公司的移动平台运作。去年三季度末 Danger 的用户已经达到 92.3 万，摩托罗拉和 T-Mobile 是该公司其中的投资者。

尽管微软声称全球超过 50 家手机制造商在超过 160 款手机中采用了它的 Windows Mobile 平台。但去年四季度在美国智能手机市场，Windows Mobile 平台智能手机 21% 的份额仍然低于获得 28% 市场份额的 Apple iPhone 手机。
