IIS 7.0 looks to be a dramatic improvement to Microsoft's Web Server software from 6.0. In Windows Vista, you can enable IIS 7.0 and host a personal web server on your home network.
Thanks to Chris123NT, here's how you can enable IIS 7.0:
I've yet to play extensively with IIS 7.0 yet in Windows Vista but fully intend to. I've been told IIS 7.0 is completely componentized with similarities to Apache.

Thanks to Chris123NT, here's how you can enable IIS 7.0:
1. Press WinKey+R on your keyboard, and then type "cmd.exe" (without the quotes).
2. Copy and paste (or type it out, doesn't matter) the following command: start /w pkgmgr.exe /iu:IIS-WebServerRole;IIS-WebServerFeature;IIS-FTPServerFeature
3. Press Enter on your keyboard and IIS will install on its own.
