今天收到从Windows Live发来的邮件，说有个新的beta服务Fremont Live发布了，不过目前只对内部员工开放。
这封邮件是这样描述Fremont：
我试用了一下，从某些方面来说，这东西很象Google Base。相对来说，Google Base更通用更自由一些，但是Fremont要远比Google Base更好用更实用。我一直觉得Google Base如果有public API，或许是个很好的平台，但是对最终用户来说，用起来并不方便。而Fremont看起来，正是一个我所期望的，对用户非常实用的产品。
Fremont Beta目前只对微软内容员工开放，而且是Confidential，所以我不能在这里谈论在Windows Live那封信以外的内容。我只想说，对于Fremont Live，我最大的期望就是，她能尽快地让所有人都可以使用，因为她太精彩了。

* Locate items in your neighborhood or across the country through integration with MapPoint and Windows Live? Local (formerly Virtual Earth),
* List easily, instantly, and for free.
