AppleInsider上称，Apple和Intel签约之后，由Intel负责设计下一代Power Mac的主板。去年10月Intel Oregon就开考虑了Apple设计Power Mac主板的请求，以便赶上从Power PC架构转向Intel架构的Plan。在2006年前4个月Apple将接连推出4款基于Intel的新Mac：iMac，15寸PowerBook， 13寸宽屏iBook和MacMini，但同时Apple位于加州Cupertino的研发中心正在被削弱。(via: Solidot)
