CNET news.com报道，长期来大家猜测微软会进入杀毒软件领域，迷底终于快要揭开了。最近微软放出了OneCare Live 的 Beta 测试版，这个工具是整个 Windows Live 的一个部分，目前只针对美国英语 WindowsXP（带SP2）的用户，而且需要用IE安装，最终版将于2006年推出。有意思的是安装过程要求卸载已经安装的其他杀毒软件或者防火墙（微软自己的防火墙除外），名单包括 Symantec Norton Internet Security 2005、Symantec Norton Antivirus 2005、Symantec Norton SystemWorks 2005、McAfee Internet Security Suite 2005、McAfee VirusScan 8.0/2004、Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005，著名的杀毒软件厂商都包括了，不知道他们会有什么反应。
