Paintbrush 是 Mac OS X 一款用于涂鸦画板的小工具，类似于以前的 MacPaint。开发作者表示是为了实现微软的"小画家"软件的功能应用，而推出 Paintbrush 的。在制图方面，当然是不可能和 Photoshop 等一类软件相比，不过其涂鸦绘图的模式，却是其他软件所没有的。最新版本为 1.0，主要更新如下：
- Holding shift while using shape tool results in perfect square/circle/lines - try it!
- Paintbrush now remembers previous image size
- Saves as PNG by default, instead of BMP
- New option to choose from preselected sizes
- Undo/redo works with cut and paste
- Updated icons for shape fill styles
- Requested: Keyboard shortcuts for zoom in/out/actual
- Added: Bomb tool animation (also responds to Shift key)
