Skype 2.6.0.151 发布不到一个月，新版 2.7 又开始进入 Beta 测试期，最新推出的 Skype 2.7.0.49 Beta for Mac OS X 又增加了几项重要的更新，包括 Mac OS X 等了许久的族群聊天，实用的地址簿联系人列表导入，方便的从 menubar 创建公开聊天室，省去麻烦的自动重拨，简单的音量调节（语音通话时），以及更为完善的文件传输系统。
