Liveside.net 消息，Windows Live Mail 开始升级到 M8。本次更新首先是把 UI 和其他 Live 产品统一起来，和 Live Spaces 一样，加入了类似的皮肤选择，并且在多个功能点设定了信息泡提示。功能上比较主要的是，添加了支持使用其他邮箱地址发送邮件的功能，以及联系人导入、联系人预览多处细节改进。更多详细的预览图片和描述可以查看 Liveside.net 相关报导。
