Paul Thurrott 上周在其 Blog 中提到，Windows Live OneCare 服务器版本已经开始内测了，邀请的一小部分用户基本上都是同时正在进行 Small Business Server 2008 测试的用户，据了解，数量大约在 5000 名左右。有此很明显的看出，Windows Live OneCare 的服务器版本是为了配合 Windows Small Business Server 2008 相关服务器操作系统环境而开发的，同样提供了针对恶意软件的保护，和服务器信息安全的特征性问题采取相应的解决方案。
此外，服务器版本还有一些针对服务器的实用应用：
- 性能方面的优化
- 自动备份指定文件
- 定期清理失效文件
- 全局管理
Windows Server 产品解决方案高级主管 Steven VanRoekel 表示，Windows Live OneCare 服务器版本将与 Small Business Server 和 Essential Server 2008 进行整合、捆绑，同时也会提供 ForeFront for Exchange 的一年订阅。
