西行资讯消息，Windows Server 2008 已经进入最后测试阶段：Escrow，然后于 1 月 16 日完成 RTM，正式发布日期为 2 月 27 日，届时 Windows Server 2008 将会带领 Visual Studio 2008 和 SQL Server 2008 一同在洛杉矶面向全球发布。
另外，Windows Vista SP1 是与 Windows Server 2008 一同开发的，据说还是共享同一个核心的，所以，Vista SP1 离正式发布也不远了。
